1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing or using Olee, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you cannot legally agree for yourself, a parent or legal guardian must review these Terms where permitted.
2. About Olee
Olee is a local-first period tracking and educational app developed by Core Tattva in Sydney, Australia. It provides cycle and symptom logging, statistical estimates, reminders, export and sharing tools, and optional on-device security features.
3. Not medical care or contraception
Olee is not a medical device and is not a substitute for a doctor, qualified healthcare professional, diagnosis, treatment, contraception, fertility testing or emergency care. Period dates, fertile windows, cycle phases and related outputs are estimates based on the information available and may be wrong, particularly with irregular cycles, illness, stress, travel, medication, postpartum changes or perimenopause.
Do not use Olee to prevent or achieve pregnancy, confirm ovulation, or make a time-sensitive medical decision. Seek professional advice for personal healthcare decisions and urgent services for an emergency.
4. Your records and responsibility
You control what you enter and are responsible for reviewing entries and estimates before relying on them or sharing them. Olee cannot verify that an entry is complete or accurate. You are responsible for keeping suitable copies of exports you wish to retain and for protecting information after it leaves the app.
5. Security and privacy features
PIN, biometric lock, icon disguise, duress mode and panic wipe are privacy aids, not guarantees. Device behaviour varies by operating-system version and hardware. A duress PIN opens a separate decoy space; it should not be treated as an emergency service or personal-safety guarantee. Keep your device secured and test privacy settings on your own device before depending on them.
6. Permitted use
Core Tattva grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use Olee in accordance with these Terms. You must not reverse-engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it, bypass security controls, redistribute the app, use it unlawfully, or infringe the rights or safety of another person.
7. Availability and changes
We may improve, change, suspend or discontinue a feature when reasonably necessary. Mobile operating systems may affect notifications, biometrics, icon disguise, storage and background behaviour. We do not promise that reminders will arrive at an exact time or that Olee will work without interruption on every device.
8. Purchases and app stores
If Olee offers a paid download, subscription or in-app purchase, its price and billing terms will be shown by Apple or Google before purchase. Store billing, refunds and cancellation are governed by the applicable store's terms and mandatory consumer law. Core Tattva does not receive your full payment-card details.
9. Intellectual property
Olee's software, branding, interface, illustrations and original written content are owned by Core Tattva or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.
10. Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Olee is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular medical or personal purpose. To the extent permitted by law, Core Tattva is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by use of, inability to use, or reliance on Olee, including inaccurate entries or estimates, missed reminders, device loss, or information shared outside the app.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Olee or legal requirements. The current version will be posted here with its revision date. Questions can be sent to dev@coretattva.com.
