Use Altego for personal self-reflection — not as a substitute for professional advice. Premium plans are billed by Apple or Google; we never see your payment details. Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel. Astrology and AI content are for exploration and entertainment only.

01 / Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Altego, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms apply to all versions of Altego on iOS and Android, including future updates or new features.

02 / About Altego

Altego is a personalized astrology and self-development app developed by Core Tattva, based in Sydney, Australia. The app combines Vedic and Western astrology, numerology, on-device AI guidance, tarot, palm reading, and journaling. No internet connection or account is required for any core feature.

03 / Premium Plans

Altego offers optional Premium access through three plans: Monthly at $6.99/month, Yearly at $49.99/year, and Lifetime at $149.99 (one-time payment). Prices are in USD and may vary by region as set by the App Store or Google Play. Premium unlocks Alter Ego AI, advanced forecasts, palm reading, and extended tools. Core features — birth chart, basic forecasts, transits, numerology, and compatibility — remain free to all users.

04 / Payment & Billing

All payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Core Tattva never receives your payment card, bank account, or billing details. Purchase receipt data may be shared with RevenueCat, our subscription management provider, solely to validate and restore your purchase. By completing a purchase you also agree to Apple's and Google's respective payment terms.

05 / Auto-Renewal

Monthly and Yearly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your payment method on file with Apple or Google will be charged at renewal. You can view the next renewal date and manage auto-renewal at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

06 / Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you retain Premium access until then. Cancelling does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current period.

07 / Refunds

Refund requests are governed by Apple's and Google's refund policies. Core Tattva does not process refunds directly. To request a refund, use the "Report a Problem" feature on the App Store or the refund request flow in Google Play. Core Tattva may support a refund request in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion.

08 / Restore Purchases

If you switch devices or reinstall Altego, you can restore your Premium purchase using the Restore Purchases option within the app. You must be signed into the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase. Lifetime purchases restore indefinitely; subscriptions restore only if still active.

09 / Permitted Use

You may use Altego for your own personal, non-commercial self-development and reflection. You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app; not to reproduce, resell, or redistribute app content commercially; and not to use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

10 / Disclaimer of Warranties

Altego is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Core Tattva makes no warranties, express or implied, that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for any particular purpose. Astrological calculations are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

11 / Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Core Tattva and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app — including loss of data, loss of revenue, or any other losses. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Altego is a tool for self-reflection — not professional advice. Astrological readings, AI guidance, tarot interpretations, numerology, and all other content within Altego are for entertainment and personal exploration only. Nothing in the app constitutes medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Do not make important life decisions based solely on app content. Always consult qualified professionals for serious matters.

13 / Intellectual Property

All content within Altego — including the interface, astrological interpretations, AI responses, artwork, and branding — is owned by Core Tattva or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from app content without our written permission.

14 / Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Altego shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

15 / Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version here with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
