Altego stores your birth data, journal, and chart context exclusively on your device. Nothing is transmitted to any server. The AI guide (Alter Ego) runs entirely on-device. Palm reading images are processed locally and never stored. No account required. No analytics. No ads. Ever.

01 / About Altego

Altego is a personalized astrology and self-development app developed by Core Tattva. It combines Vedic and Western astrology, numerology, an on-device AI guide, tarot, palm reading, and journaling to help you understand yourself and plan your life with intention. Altego requires no internet connection for any of its core features, and no account is ever required.

02 / Data We Collect

We collect no data from you. Altego does not transmit, upload, or share any information with Core Tattva, any server, or any third party. All data you enter — birth details, journal entries, compatibility connections, tarot history, and preferences — is stored exclusively in your device's local storage.

03 / Birth Chart Data

To generate your natal chart, Altego asks for your birth date, time, and place of birth. This information is stored only on your device and is used solely to perform astrological calculations using the Swiss Ephemeris engine embedded in the app. It is never transmitted to any external server. You can delete your birth data at any time from within the app settings.

04 / On-Device AI — Alter Ego

The Alter Ego AI guide is powered by a language model that runs entirely on your device using on-device inference. Your birth chart context, the questions you ask, and all AI responses are processed and stored locally only. No conversation data, no chart context, and no prompts are ever sent to Core Tattva servers or any external AI API. Your astrological profile never leaves your phone.

05 / Camera & Palm Reading

The Palm Reading feature uses your device camera to capture an image of your palm. Palm images are processed entirely on-device using AI inference local to your phone. No images are stored permanently, uploaded to any server, or transmitted anywhere. The image is used transiently for analysis only, then discarded. You can revoke camera access at any time in your device settings without affecting any other Altego features.

06 / Journal & Intentions

Your journal entries, daily intentions, and affirmations are stored locally on your device. They are never transmitted, analyzed by Core Tattva, or made accessible to any third party. All journaling data is private and deleted permanently when you uninstall the app or clear your app data.

07 / Compatibility Data

Birth details you enter for compatibility connections (friends, family, partners) are stored locally on your device only, in the same manner as your own birth data. This information is never transmitted, shared, or uploaded anywhere.

08 / Notifications

Altego may send local notifications for daily affirmations and planetary hour alerts, if you choose to enable them. These notifications are generated entirely on-device from locally stored data. No notification content or scheduling data is transmitted to any server. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

09 / Internet Access

All core features of Altego — natal chart, forecasts, transits, numerology, AI guide, tarot, palm reading, journal, and lunar calendar — function completely offline. Altego does not make outbound network requests. No data is transmitted to any server, third party, or external service under any circumstances.

10 / Account & Login

Altego requires no account, email address, login, or sign-up of any kind. You can download and use the app immediately without providing any personal information to Core Tattva.

11 / Third-Party Services

Altego does not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, crash-reporting services, social login providers, or cloud sync services. There are no third parties who receive any data from this app.

12 / Advertising

Altego contains no advertising of any kind. There are no ads, no ad SDKs, and no ad-related data collection — ever.

13 / Children's Privacy

Because Altego collects no data from any users and requires no account, it does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). All data entered into the app remains solely on the user's device.

14 / Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version here with an updated date. Any future version of Altego that introduces data collection will clearly disclose what is collected, why, and how — prior to any data being gathered.
